Indoor Family Fun on Long Island: Aquariums, Adventure Parks, and More
By this time of the season, winter can start to feel a bit boring. It's still cold outside, and the sky often looks more gray than blue. But thankfully, you don't have to just sit at home and watch TV. Long Island is home to many indoor fun centers, science centers, and aquariums where you can engage your mind without exposing yourself to the elements. Empire Adventure Park

At Empire Adventure Park, kids and adults of all ages can play laser tag, jump on trampolines, tackle the ninja obstacle course, and more. The dodgeball court is especially popular with kids, and the soft play toddler area is perfect for the younger ones.
Empire Adventure Park is close to many great Westbury homes for sale. There's also a cafe inside where you can order favorites like nachos, fries, pizzas, and ice cream.
Laser Bounce Long Island

Long Island Aquarium

This magnificent aquarium is home to discus fish, electric eels, flounders, cuttlefish, and more. You can also see a few land-dwelling animals, including fishing cats, penguins, and marmosets.
The Long Island Aquarium offers several events and classes each day, including a Penguin Talk every morning and afternoon, a Sea Lion Presentation, and a Fishing Cat lecture. Admission is even free on your birthday!
iSmash Farmingdale

iSmash Farmingdale is a unique indoor space where you can let out your frustrations by smashing dishes, glassware, old electronics, and more. You can also smash splatter paint, which will leave you looking more colorful than a school art project! Confetti bombs, powder bombs, and car windshields are fun to smash, too.
iSmash will also let you bring your own box of items to smash in one of their rooms. They'll provide the sledgehammer! Just make sure you save enough energy to look at Farmingdale homes for sale while you're in the area.
