Holiday Pop-Ups and Destinations on Long Island | Laffey Real Estate

With the holidays fast approaching, you might be looking for fun, new places to sip, dine, and celebrate. If so, Long Island is definitely the place to be. In the coming weeks, several holiday-themed pop-ups are sure to get you in the festive spirit. Call a couple of friends, and plan to stop by these exciting, local limited events.

  • Mr. Grump Christmas Pop Up Bar - 230 Main St., Farmingdale, NY 11735
After a long day of looking at Farmingdale homes for sale, enjoy some adult refreshments at Mr. Grump Christmas Pop Up Bar. This Grinch-themed event is only open to those 21 or older. You can purchase a ticket for a 90-minute session online before the event.

Each ticket to this pop-up includes a souvenir cup, interactive performance, photo opportunities, and more. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. The event is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through December. Whether you're a Cindy Lou Who fan or are feeling a bit like the Grinch yourself, you're sure to love this one.

  • The Christmas Club Pop Up Experience - 600 Long Island Ave., Brentwood, NY 11717
If you're looking for a fun way to celebrate with friends, our real estate agents suggest stopping by the Christmas Club Pop Up Experience. This event is only open on weekends through December, and tickets are $32 per person if purchased in advance. You can prepay for parties of 2 - 16, ensuring you'll sit together.

Tickets to The Christmas ClubPop-Upp Experience include a souvenir mug, photo opportunities with Santa and his friends, and an interactive performance by Santa himself! Walk-ins will be welcome only if there's space, so we recommend buying tickets in advance.

  • Pop Star Pop Up - 906 W. Beech St., Long Island, NY 11561
Starting November 21st, Pop Star Pop Up is hosting Wonderland: Journey to the North Pole. This is a winter-themed dining experience that you're sure to enjoy. There will be cocoa to sip, holiday trivia to get you thinking, and plenty of merry photo stations where you can snap memorable shots.

Tickets to this Pop Star Pop Up event are $40 per person. Each ticket includes your choice of a main dish, dessert, sides, mocktails, and cocktails. There are vegan and vegetarian options available. Menu options include the Melting Cheeseburger, Heat Miser's Hot Chicken Sandwich, and Polar Penna Ala Vodka. For dessert, you can't go wrong with the Brownie Sundae or Cocoa Cake.

  • Christmas House - 358 N. Broadway Commons, Hicksville, NY 11801
Christmas House is billed as Long Island's number-one Christmas Attraction, and who are we to disagree? This spectacular event is an indoor, immersive, holiday-themed party where you can walk among Christmas trees, enjoy snow in the Snow Room, and even watch a show in the North Pole Movie Theater. The event is appropriate for all ages.

Tickets for Christmas House are available online and often sell out in advance. The event is open every day except Christmas Day through January 2nd. Don't forget to stop by the gift shop, where you'll find sweatshirts, candy, popcorn, and more. The Christmas House takes about 45 minutes to walk through, but you can spend plenty of time shopping after the main attraction. Perhaps you'll even be inspired to look at some Hicksville homes for sale nearby.

The holidays come but once a year, so we hope you take the time to relax and celebrate this season. If you're looking for a new home in the Long Island area, don't hesitate to contact us. We're happy to help.
