Fall Highlights: Five Festivals You'll Love on Long Island | Laffey Real Estate

The start of fall comes with many charms on Long Island, including a fantastic schedule of local festivals that offer countless ways to enjoy the beautiful weather and foliage-filled scenery this fall. Whether you're in the mood for a trip to the farm, a festival celebrating all things Long Island, or the chance to savor the best fresh seafood, there's sure to be an event with your name on it. Our real estate agents have all the details on five festivals for you to look forward to this fall.

  • The Oyster Festival – Waterfront, Oyster Bay, NY 11771
After celebrating 40 years at last year's event, The Oyster Festival is back once again around the corner from Oyster Bay homes for sale on October 19 & 20, 2024. The waterfront near Beekman Beach is transformed into a carnival environment for the event, which features, first and foremost, oysters prepared in just about every way you can imagine. There's much more to the event, including live music, a craft market, activities for kids, and plenty of beautiful waterfront scenery.

  • Mill Neck Manor Apple Festival – 40 Frost Mill Road, Mill Neck, NY 11765
Looking for a family-friendly event near Mill Neck homes for sale? The annual Mill Neck Manor Apple Festival returns for another year of fun on October 12 & 13, 2024, at Mill Neck Manor. Visit the market to find great items from dozens of vendors, stop by the food court for an artisanal meal, or visit the children's area for fun family games. The event also serves as an important fundraiser for the Mill Neck Family of Organizations.

  • Long Island Fall Festival – 164 Main St., Huntington, NY 11743
A local favorite for many years held close to Huntington homes for sale at Hecksher Park, the Long Island Fall Festival is one of the largest events of its kind in the region. This year's Long Island Fall Festival takes place October 11-14, 2024, with free admission for all. There will be multiple food courts, a packed schedule of live entertainment all weekend long, and a carnival with tons of fun activities for family members of all ages. You'll also find a market with more than 200 vendors, perfect for finding unique gifts just before the holiday season.

  • Brightwaters Farms Fall Harvest – 1624 Manatuck Blvd., Bay Shore, NY 11706
There's nothing like a fall visit to the farm with family and friends, which is exactly what you can look forward to at the Brightwaters Farms Fall Harvest event. Start with a visit to the Country Store, where you can find fresh and prepared products from the farm, then head outdoors for a host of exciting activities. Take a hayride, go pumpkin picking, and visit the farm animals. This year's fall harvest lasts through October 27, 2024.

  • Waterdrinker's Fall Festival – 663 Wading River Road, Manorville, NY 11949
Another great opportunity to spend some quality time at a wonderful Long Island farm, Waterdrinker's Fall Festival is filled with fall fun around every corner. This event is especially fun for kids, with mini golf, a jumbo jump pad, hayrides, lawn games, a corn maze, a haunted house, and even a wooden playland. The farm is open every day throughout fall, though some activities are only available on weekends.
